With COVID-19 already being pretty rampant by the time we had returned back to Australia, we were definitely worried to be travelling back to Hong Kong during that time (despite it probably being safer in Hong Kong lbr). Our apartment was blocked off from the police-side sin.. crown plaza kowloon east lunch buffet (2020.02) With the start of preventative Covid-19 measures, our lunch buffet had turned into a buffet served by order. Some items came as a double serving, while others were just a single serving (which was strange...) For example, ticking the sashimi would only give you one piece, but ticking the soup would give you two bowls. Starting with pumpkin soup as a warm up - tasted pretty bad... not to toot my .. hotel room food diary (2020.01) collection of dinners/food we had while at alva hotel by royal bafang dumpling · yu chui shopping center taiwanese braised beef and tendon noodle soup + pan fried pork dumplings + pearl milk tea + soy milk ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ SO GOOD!!! it was our first time trying this branch and nothing but praises! the amount of packaging for the takeaway was a bit over the top, but the food was ah-mazing! a lot of th.. eating out in hong kong (2020.01) mom's dry noodle · tseun wan plaza stewed beef noodle soup ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ nothing beats noodles in soup on a cold day! definitely made the right choice going with this place instead of the sushi place next door. just the right amount of spicy (although it could definitely do with a lot more veggies) ikea · tseun wan aromatic ginger pork knuckle with rice + waffle fries ⭐️⭐️⭐️ the pork knuckle rice was.. alva house breakfast buffet (2020.01) Our booking via agoda included a buffet breakfast for 2 everyday, which turned out to be great because the closest shop/restaurant from the hotel was a 3-5 minute walk and didn't open until 11:00am. The Alva House restaurant was really spacious, and it might have been because we stayed midweek, but there was probably about less than 20 people each morning. Hydropnic-grown salad? Yes please.
