Our second trip to Hong Kong was kind of last minute due unforseen circumstances, so we didn't have too much time to plan. With COVID-19 already being pretty rampant by the time we had returned back to Australia, we were definitely worried to be travelling back to Hong Kong during that time (despite it probably being safer in Hong Kong lbr).
Our apartment was blocked off from the police-side since they still had paperwork and other details they had to sort out, so unfortunately(?) we had to plan to stay in a hotel for at least the first week, while we organized the apartment to be cleaned/disinfected etc.
But anyways, with mother having to run all over the place during the day to sort out paper work, we decided that we would prioritize distance to transport/getting to and from the airport and our apartment over anything else, then look at places that we hadn't stayed in before.
In the end we went with Hotel Cozi Resort, located in Tuen Muen, since we have had pretty good stays at the other Hotel Cozi locations (Harbourview and Wetlands).
Things didn't start off to great because the light on the left had actually blown and we had to call the front desk to see if they could fix it (everything did get solved in around 15-20 minutes).
The hotel features 5 different themes: African (which we stayed in), Japanese, Greek, Thai and a kid-friendly Penguin theme.
The level you stayed was dependent on your chosen theme, so for us, we stayed on level 5.
We had actually hoped to stay in the Japanese suite, but unfortunately it unavailable for our dates...
For the sake of not looking like a creep and saving myself from the embarrassment incase our key only worked for our floor, I didn't visit any of the other floors.
But the gym was kind of? Geece/Santorini themed, as you can see.
It might have been the time we were there (mostly weekdays) I only ever bumped into 3 people in the gym over the course of the week we stayed, so it was nice and private. Unfortunately due to Covid, I wasn't able to use the sauna in the bathroom, but it was nice to see that there was one, I guess(?).
