HA. HA. HA.
So in the process of moving all photos from my old iPhone to the computer, all the food photos that I took while I was in Hong Kong somehow got deleted in the process...
HA. HA. HA....
MY LIFE AHAHAHA...
I'm not okay
So no food photos unfortunately (apart from snacks had on the hotel bed), but luckily foodpanda/deliveroo keeps a record of orders so that's the best I can do unfortunately.
bugis · v city
singapore hainan chicken rice + seafood laksa
⭐️⭐️⭐️
can't remember much, but I do remember them being very generous witht the seafood (think 2 prawns, mussels, calamari etc.)
xiao wang beef noodle · v city
beef noodle in soup
⭐️⭐️⭐️
I remember it being very standard - not enough veggies as usual

You can never go wrong with takeaway pho
Less one star because they forgot to leave out the spring onions and coriander despite it being requested
4 pieces original recipe, 5 pieces hot wings, 1 large mushroom rice, 1 large waffle fries
2 small mashed potato and gravy, 2 small corn cups, 2 portuguese egg tarts
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mum and I had been craving fried chicken since last year, but the delivery fees for Australian fried chicken places always put us off.
This definitely hit the spot (and more) - I literally felt a bit sick and couldn't move for a food half and hour after eating (and I hadn't even gotten to the egg tart and potato and gravy yet...)
no stars
yes, that's right e-mo, zero stars - not even a star for trying.
the seafood and tofu stew was basically water with a bit of chilli powder - not even gochujang. I could honestly make something better in my sleep or blinfolded. (It tasted like water with a bit of salt as well...)
the beansprouts were unseasoned and overcooked
I mean, if I had to be generous I would give one star for the kimbap because it was edible at least, but if I were to consider the order as a whole, nope - zero stars.
E-mo gave me the confidence that if all else goes terribly wrong, I could possibly open up a Korean restaurant in Hong Kong and be okay.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had actually ordered mixian from another shop, but the order ended up getting lost during delivery and food panda offered zero help during the process so we had waited almost 1.5 hours for dinner...
We ordered the 'crossing the bridge' mixian, and it was SO GOOD - and the fact we were starving probably helped
And here's a small collection of the small snacks I had while in bed
