With a budget of $500AUD, and a few things to consider (namely transport from the airport and to our apartment post stay, breakfast options, shower/bathtub preferences, and then obviously safety), I finally managed to narrow my shortlist of 20-something hotels down to 6 - two in Causeway Bay, three in Sha Tin, and one in Tseung Kwun O.
But after almost a month of going backwards and forwards between hotels, I'm proud to say that accomodation has finally been booked!
Ended up going with the hotel that I came across last, Alva Hotel by Royal.
The hotel has only just recetly opened in the later half of 2019, so I'm looking forward to everything still feeling like new (unlike some of the other hotels on my shortlist).
Apart from the buffet breakfast, I'm particularly looking forward to checking out to rooftop pool and the Skillbike at the gym.
Next, sort out flights for Taiwan/Japan/Korea 💪
