So I'm not actually sure how I landed on Groupon, but a few clicks later I had bought myself a $49 yum cha deal for two at Yum Cha Cuisine at Garden City with a 20% cashback via CashRewards, as well at 15% off their pre-Christmas sale.

 

Luckily we brought plastic containers with us, because the menu actually ended up being way more than the two of us could finish.

 

The whole process was painless from booking to arriving on the day - bookings have to be made at least 24 hours in advance, and just make sure to mention the Groupon deal. We arrived, checked in with the QR Code, and the waiter scanned the Groupon code, took us to our table and food was on our table within 5 minutes of us sitting down.

The quality of the food was actually a lot better than what we expected - the yumcha items (spring rolls, deep fried squid and pan fried pork dumplings) were a bit cold, but still delicious nonethess.

The highlight for me was definitely the fried rice and the coconut milk dessert.
